COX Architecture – Kurilpa Bridge book, by Haig Beck and Jackie Cooper
The Kurilpa Bridge, designed by Brisbane architects COX Rayner Architecture is lauded as one of the most audacious and technically ambitious bridge designs in recent years…It won the Award for Transport Architecture at the World Architecture Festival, Barcelona in 2011 and continues to incite passionate opinions in the community and design sector.
We were thrilled to be invited by COX to design this 100 page book printed by the lovely people at Images Publishing. With stunning photography by Chris Frederick Jones, Roger D’Souza and Florian Groehn it was a pleasure to work on.
AIA sound recording
Recently we were lucky enough to work with the immensely talented musician and West End local, Alex Skinner. Alex wrote the guitar score to accompany the short video produced by Tony Gooley Design for the upcoming Australian Institute of Architects national conference – Experience. He arrived with guitar in hand and the recording was made using Garage Band software.
Alex’s day job is playing guitar for Brisbane based band, Chocolate Strings.
